Castel Classics was founded in early 2025 by Maxime Castelein, a true car enthusiast with a lifelong passion for motorsports. Maxime, born and raised in Kortrijk, grew up surrounded by rally and race cars. Thanks to his father, who competed on some of Europe’s most legendary tracks, Maxime caught the bug. Watching his father race, Maxime knew from a young age that he wanted to follow the same path.
At 21, he joined the family business, working in production and sales for six years while staying deeply connected to classic motorsports. His own racing journey began with a Saab 96 Bullnose 2-stroke, followed by a Ford Escort MK2, taking him to renowned events like Goodwood, Le Mans Classic, and Spa. With each race, his passion for classic cars grew, leading him to create Castel Classics - where enthusiasts like you can find their dream car or the perfect buyer.
In the back of my mind, I always knew I wanted to do more than just drive these cars. I wanted to turn my passion into a career; helping others find their dream cars and inspiring them to compete in these incredible events.
